The subsidy is based on system capacity: ₹30,000 for 1 kW, ₹60,000 for 2 kW, and ₹78,000 (maximum) for 3 kW. Up to 2 kW, 60% of the cost is covered, and between 2–3 kW, an additional 40% of the extra cost is covered. North-East states, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, J&K, Andaman, and Lakshadweep receive an additional 10% subsidy.
